East Coast Laundry recently installed a new Milnor Pulse Flow PBW Tunnel along with Single Stage Press at the Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook, NL. This installation presented some unique challenges due to location of the laundry on a second floor with fairly limited space and accessibility.
Although weather was at times not favorable, we were able to complete the project timing as planned and had the hospital laundry back in operation on schedule.
The system was integrated with the hospitals existing dryer shuttle and dryers along with modifications and upgrades to their soiled rail system.
Milnor PBW Pulse Flow Tunnel is able to achieve superior production, quality and energy efficiency (approx. 0.3 gallons of water/lb of processed linen) versus close to 1 gallon/lb of their old system.
